Description

Adaptation of Percy Jackson's ballpoint pen sword, Riptide (Anaklusmos). Loosely based on the weapon of choice for Percy Jackson. Although it doesn't match the description in the books, and obviously doesn't turn into a double edged sword, it was still a fun design project with my daughter who is a big fan. The objects are split into two plates to minimize filament swaps for the bronze blade and the black pen. The Greek word for Riptide, Anaklusmos, is debossed into the side of the pen housing, but the trident symbol embedded into the top and bottom of the pen, is a separate object that is exactly 0.4 mm thick so it prints in two layers with a layer height of 0.2 mm.
