Playdate Controller-style Grip

Make your Playdate more comfortable to hold!

I found the Playdate a little sharp around the edges, in addition to being very tiny. Long sessions would make my hands hurt, so I designed this grip case for it. Includes holes for plugging in USB, headphones, and a slot for the microphone.

Prints in two parts with only one area needing supports. I recommend organic supports with painted on supports around the area where the usb/microphone/headphone jacks are, or excluding supports inside the slots for the corner bracket.

The magnet slots are for 6mmx3mm round magnets, but are optional. If the corner bracket is loose, I recommend supergluing it in place. There is a 0.15mm tolerance built into the model.
