Description

Ergonomic Joy-Con Controller Grip

This is an ergonomic grip designed to house Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. It transforms individual Joy-Cons into a more comfortable, traditional controller form factor. Fully 3D printable.

The case has been printed with a 0.6mm nozzle.

Features

  • Joy-Con Integration: Designed to securely clip in official Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons.
  • Ergonomic Design: Provides a more comfortable and natural grip for extended use.
  • Modular Construction: The design allows for printing different color components, such as the visible accent piece.
  • Easy Joycon removal: Once done playing, you can just put your finger behind the hole of the middle piece and push it up!

What You'll Print

You will need to print all the .stl files provided to assemble the complete grip. The filament used is your choice.

Assembly

After printing everything and having everything mentionned above we can start the build

Task 1 - Grip Assembly

  • Assemble the grip together with the middle piece,
  • 🔵🔵 That piece is hard to assemble, i recommend sticking a long screwdriver in the middle and push the piece down to the grip part

Task 2 - Adding the triggers

  • Slide the trigger buttons on their round edges and push the other side into the case, it should clip in
