Description
A thaumatrope model designed to be easily handheld. Spins extremely well after a few minutes of practice. Primarily aimed at children, but not exclusively, it illustrates the principle of retinal persistence, the origin of animation and cinema: by spinning the object, one sees the bird inside the cage even though they are on opposite sides and normally impossible to see at the same time. I recommend printing at 50% (silent mode). Enjoy !
