Description

I'm working on a US Air Force series and including all the Airplane markings from 1919 to current. Here's a website for you to see more info on each insignia. https://www.aircorpsart.com/blog/timeline-for-the-us-air-force-national-star-insignia/

Check my other models for the rest of the series.

Date Issued into Service: 8th Air Force Operation Memo number 9, October 1st, 1942.

As seen in the North African Theater Operation Torch. The Yellow band would often vary in thickness. The design is inspired by the outermost ring among RAF Type A.2 & C.1 Roundels.

Colors: Insignia Blue No.47, Insignia White No.46, Identification Yellow No. 48

I've made the front panel smaller height, but the insert part is wide enough for LED strip lights.
I used ‘add negative part' in Bambu Studio to place the back hole for cords. I use a 22mm cylinder to fit the 22mm Rubber Grommet. Looks clean and makes it easy to install.

I've included two options for back panel. Once with a wall mount and the other for desk mount. A stand is included for the desktop option.
