Description

I modified the gasket to have wings that make it so the LEDs can shine into the printer, but they are blocked from direct view when you are looking into the printer. Makes it much more pleasant so the bright LED strips don't blind you every time you check on a print.

prints great, helps a ton with blocking the LED strip from shining directly into my eyes

How does the back middle one not shine in your eyes? How are your wires routed to go around both sides?

Replying to @jawknee21 :
the back does shine in my eyes when I go below the lip of the BLV, but I don't have to do that very often(almost always it's just for maintenance, not regular operation) so it's not nearly as big of an issue as the sides were. I have a zip tie for my spare wire that I have by the USB power port, mostly because there is a ton of extra cable with the controller box. I cut the strip to size using the marked cut areas so I only have the power in excess cables to deal with

Fits perfectly! First time printing with TPU, had some stringing and weird little artifacts around the pegs that slot into the riser but all was easy to clean up.

What length of leds fit the riser? I’m currently printing it out but can’t find the length mentioned anywhere.

Not sure what the exact length is, but I just bought this LED roll. You can cut it every 8mm so you just cut it to your preferred length: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B7CXX2G6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
