Description

This is a remix of Dani's Indoor Grow Tower. I have added a few features to the original files. First I added a barbed fitting to the 50mm shower head for a snug fit with .5 inch internal diameter tubing. Next I added lugs to the chimney module to prevent the shower head from sliding down the chimney. I also added screw holes to the 50mm modules to allow for more stability with taller towers. I expanded the tower lid to better fit 5 gallon buckets. Within the lid I also included a fill port and a cover with a pass through for the pump power, a bubler and/or a temp probe. Lastly I created a riser module (spacer) to allow for more distance between plants if desired. Thank you to the original creator of the tower and I hope you all enjoy the modifications. *The riser module has the same fitting as the lid. You can print a base module to fit on top of the riser. I will be adding a second version of the riser to avoid the plant pods from all lining up.

The size is perfect for a small indoor setup! I just started the prints but am loving this project already, thanks for the model! Update: Finished printing two towers. Went a slightly different way with the build, using those water cone things throughout. Used M3 x 8mm screws to join the pieces and printed in ABS.

To all interested. I am still working on these files to add more features. I'm planning on creating a variation of the risers that will allow the pods to be staggered from each other. Basically, the top of the new riser will be rotated 60°. Also, I'm looking to add LED grow light bars for the tower.

I am printing this right now and the prints look great. What size of pump and other hardware are recommended for it upon completion?

The pump should be sized based on the height of your tower. Look for the maximum lift height of the pump and size it so it is a higher than your tower. make sure it isn't too much higher or it will spray out of the shower head with too much force.
