Did I do something wrong? The tube doesn't fit into the base, it seems to have two thicknesses and I have small printing holes... I followed the 10% for the bin and 99 for the tube and 3 walls

Hello thanks for this design! I have printed in PLA+ and have drilled the 5 holes underneath but the unit still floats. Is there something I have done wrong?

The air may be a little difficult to get out, but put it in the water and turn it upside down and tap it in different places until no more bubbles come out of the holes. this is because the air can still get stuck inside all the infill

Thank you! I actually reprinted and realised I had selected the wrong infill hence the air wasnt getting out! Would be ace if you did the uptake design of the size 2 in the size 1. Thanks again for sharing!

@Staehr would be awesome if you can create one version in size 1 but with uptake design of size 2.

what filament would be best to kee microbial bacteria from growing in the stagnant areas doing that? or is there a filament that isn’t so buoyant?

I don't want to worry about bacteria in it. print it in PETG, it is best in water

Other Issues:bad design. it is impossible tonget rid of all the air trap inside the model and it will always float up

Thank you very much! Very helpful! It would be great if you could publish the STL file; I’d like to make minimal changes for my multiple aquarium setup. Thanks again!
