Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Exhaust Adapter 3" Hose

This is a rear exhaust adapter for the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2. It lets you connect a standard 3" hose to the printer exhaust so fumes can be routed outside.

The quick-connect system is built into the printed parts: add the magnets, attach your 3" hose, then snap the hose connector on or off whenever you need it.

Hardware

• 10 × 2 mm round magnets
  • Exhaust Adapter only: 2 magnets can be used
  • Quick-connect setup: minimum 8 magnets total
    • 4 magnets in the exhaust adapter
    • 4 magnets in the hose connector
• Screws:
  • Reuse 1 existing M3 screw from the printer
  • Add 2 × M3 × 5 mm screws for the other holes
• Standard 3" hose + hose clamp

Print settings

Recommended material: PETG

• Layer height: 0.20 mm
• Walls: 6
• Infill: 15% gyroid
• Supports: no
• Brim: auto brim / 5 mm
• Plates:
• Plate 1: Exhaust Adapter
• Plate 2: Hose Connector

Installation

1. Print both plates in PETG.
2. Install the 10 × 2 mm magnets. Check polarity before gluing.
3. Mount the exhaust adapter to the rear of the CC2.
4. Attach the hose connector to your 3" hose with a clamp.
5. Snap the hose connector onto the exhaust adapter.
6. Route the hose outside and make sure it is not kinked or pulling on the printer.

The adapter fits well and seals very well in my setup.

Notes

• Designed for printer exhaust/fume routing.
• PETG works well for this use case.
• Make sure your hose has enough rear clearance.
