Induction Stove Edge Protector

After replacing several induction cooktops due to the glass edges cracking from accidental side impacts, I designed this protective edge guard to prevent future damage and extend the life of the appliance.

Dimensions & Customization

  • Default Size: Designed to fit standard cooktop glass measuring 59 x 52 cm.
  • Scalability: If your stove has different dimensions, you can easily adjust the scale of the model within your slicer to ensure a perfect fit.

Material Recommendations

  • Recommended: I highly advise printing this model in TPU. The flexibility of TPU provides superior impact absorption for the glass edges.
  • Alternative Materials: Rigid heat-resistant materials like PETG may work, but they are currently untested for this specific application (use at your own discretion).

Included Print Profiles

  • Large Build Volumes: 4-part assembly profile.
  • Small Build Volumes: 8-part assembly profile.

Happy Printing!
