Tile Maker – Decorative Relief & Sensory Tiles
Print Profile(6)

Bill of Materials
Description
Turn simple tiles into sculpted surfaces.
TileMaker is a fully parametric OpenSCAD generator for decorative relief tiles, wall panels, plaques, inserts, sensory surfaces, and more. Eight procedural pattern families, extensive shaping controls, pattern blending, edge fading, and seed-based variation make it possible to create everything from refined repeating textures to distinctive, sculpted surfaces.

🚀 Quick Start
1. Define Your Tile
Set the width, length, base thickness, and corner rounding. Use zero rounding for a rectangular panel or full rounding for a circle or capsule.
2. Choose a Pattern
Choose one of eight procedural surfaces:
- Ocean – layered swells and cross waves
- Waves – clean repeating ridges
- Ripple – concentric impact rings
- Foam – rounded cellular forms
- Topographic – warped contour ridges
- Dunes – wind-shaped ridges and fine ripples
- Organic – soft flowing structures
- Labyrinth – winding paths with optional branches
Change Pattern Seed to explore new variations. Fine-tune the result with each pattern's dedicated controls.
3. Shape and Blend
Adjust the pattern height, soften the perimeter with a fade, or blend in a second pattern globally, across a feathered split, or through a radial transition.
4. Prepare the Print
Use a coarse Resolution while designing and a lower value for the final mesh. Export flat for maximum bed contact, or enable Print Upright for smoother relief slopes (recommended). A brim helps upright tiles stay secure on the build plate.
