Description

Enjoy this high quality, lightweight, and satisfying piece of fully 3d printable fabric! Some fabrics, such as Nasa Fabric, are fairly thick and have a limited range of movement, but not this design! It is extremely thin, and flexes in both ways! Printing in TPU or another type of flexible material gives the fabric an extra boost of flexibility! Printing on a Smooth PEI Sheet gives the fabric an even smoother texture! This makes a great gift for fidgeters, people with anxiety, and others. I have posted a smaller test version of this model. I would highly recommend printing that first, to make sure you have proper bed adhesion, and that your printer will be able to print it. But of course, a tiny version isn't good enough. After confirming that your printer can handle it, go print the big version. Be prepared to have you mind blown!

Absolutely worth the 5ish hour print time! I was terrified that my nozzle would pick up and ruin the whole print especially since I printed on a smooth plate and directly from my phone. I am so beyond happy that it didnt mess up at all! 😍😍😍

Printed flawlessly using PETG with a 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer height. I was feeling a little nervous taking it off the plate, but it came off intact. After seeing this I am wondering about trying it in TPU.

Any trick you used to get it off the plate? Did you use the textured plate?

Yes, I used the textured PEI plate. My process: 1> Let the plate to cool completely down first. 2> Removed the plate from the heatbed 3> Flexed the plate gently 4> Pushed a scraper inward against each edge until I hit resistance. 5> Slowly peeled the fabric back by rolling fingertips under it to dig at individual links, working in line with the "grain" of the fabric. If I felt I was hitting too much resistance, I'd rotate the plate and work at it from another angle.

If 100 people have successfully printed it and only one person hasn't, isn't that the single person's issue? I don't see why a one-star rating is necessary

How long does it take to print at 50% speed? I have an A1 mini so it would be handy to know

I've NEVER had bed adhesion issues before, but this print changed that! After a massive mess, I cleaned the build plate well, tried again, and had success! Would you mind creating a dual color version?

I've seen some related prints that have the top and bottom halves a different color.

Used a textured PEI plate You kinda have to take it off piece by piece in the beginning, but you can also pull it off slowly. The prints design is very sturdy

worked our second time. we tried once, we had bed adhesion issues, so we fixed it and it worked the second time. no issues with anything breaking.
