The modular bench building system just got a major overhaul. Whether you are setting up a custom workshop, a crafting table, or a sleek new desk, BenchWorks 2.0 makes squaring up your frames faster, cleaner, and more efficient than ever.
This is a functional print designed to take the headache out of assembly. At its core, the BenchWorks system acts as a precision jig to perfectly square up your corners, allowing you to build a custom bench to any dimensions you desire.
What’s New in Version 2.0?
I took both personal and community feedback from the original design and re-engineered the system from the ground up:
- 📉 Lower Filament Usage: A refined, optimized structural layout means you use less plastic per corner without sacrificing alignment rigidity.
- 🏎️ Easier, Faster Printing: Fewer steep overhangs and a streamlined geometry mean shorter print times and less fuss on the build plate.
- 📐 Better Setup for Assembly: Improved access points make clamping, screwing, and securing your lumber even smoother during construction.
- ✨ Sleeker Industrial Design: A modernized, low-profile aesthetic that gives your finished workbench a professional, high-end look.
- 🎉 Jig option available!: Don't want to use ~650g of filament or don't want the printed corners permanent? Use the included “Jig” version in the main print profile.

⚠️ Please Note: BenchWorks is NOT designed to be a load-bearing structural component. It is a precision alignment jig and accent system engineered to make assembling your lumber perfectly square, simple, and stylish.
- Make It Your Own: Print in your favorite primary colors for a clean look, or use up those half-empty "mystery rolls" gathering dust to create a funky, utilitarian workhorse!
- What's Included: Check the files for a full assembly guide. Remember, the beauty of this system is that you can adapt the lumber lengths to fit your specific space!
