This model is a fully parametric two‑line name plate generator featuring bold linked lettering, unified background layers, optional underline, and a clean multi‑color workflow. Every component - background extrusion, main text layers, underline capsule, and auto‑width calculations - is generated through a synchronized parametric architecture. Adjust any parameter and the entire model updates instantly with clean geometry and reliable printability.
This model prints without supports - all geometry is designed to be support‑free.
🛠️ What You Can Customize
✏️ Two Independent Text Lines
- Line 1: Main name
- Line 2: Secondary text
Both lines support full font control, spacing, offsets, and height adjustments. Compatible with 8000+ system fonts, including bold, rounded, script, serif, and decorative styles.
🧱 Linked Background Layers
Each text line has its own background layer:
- Adjustable background depth
- Adjustable background thickness
- Auto‑offset logic for smooth outlines
- Unified background color for a clean, premium look
The background is extruded behind the text to create a strong, connected base.
📏 Precise Positioning & Spacing
- Independent X‑offsets for each line
- Adjustable spacing between lines
- Dynamic Y‑positioning based on text height
- Auto‑calculated underline width based on combined text bounds
Everything stays perfectly centered and aligned.

Enable a smooth underline beneath Line 2:
- Auto‑width based on combined text length
- Extra length adjustment
- Thickness control
- Spacing between text and underline
- Independent underline color
The underline uses a capsule shape for clean curves and strong visual impact.
🎨 Multi‑Color Layering
Assign colors independently to:
- Line 1
- Line 2
- Underline
- Background layers
Perfect for AMS multi‑color printing or manual filament swaps.
⚙️ Automated Parametric Structure
The generator uses a fully modular architecture:
- Background layers extruded first for structural support
- Text layers extruded above with clean offsets
- Underline capsule generated using auto‑width logic
- All spacing and offsets calculated automatically
- Colors applied per‑layer for clean multi‑color prints
This ensures perfect alignment, no floating geometry, and no manual tweaking.
🎨 Color Swap (Manual Multicolor)
If you don’t have an AMS, no problem — this model prints perfectly with manual filament swaps. Add pauses at every layer where a color layer ends. Each time the printer pauses, change filament and resume printing to achieve clean, sharp transitions across all linked layers.
