Description
This is a simple protective cover for the exposed tweeter area on a Teufel Centerspeaker M120 C.
On my speaker, the main front area is protected by the original metal grille, but the tweeter on the top/front section is still exposed. Since our child is now tall enough to reach it and kept poking the tweeter membrane with his finger, I designed this small cover to prevent damage.
The cover slides over the tweeter area like a protective cap. The front uses a honeycomb infill pattern, so sound can still pass through while fingers are blocked from directly touching the membrane.
I cannot guarantee that this cover has no effect on sound quality, but in my use case the sound still comes through well enough, and the tweeter is much better protected from curious little hands.

I also cannot make any claims about acoustic transparency or possible changes in sound quality. The cover works well for my personal setup, but your results may vary.
