On the Porsche 911 996.2 the chrome/body-colour headlight-washer cover cap sits on a telescopic squirter. Over 20+ years the original plastic collar that retains that cap goes brittle, cracks, and the cap pops off and gets lost on the road. This is a direct-fit replacement collar that clips onto your existing OEM telescopic squirter and holds the cover cap securely again. You could find only the chrome caps on aliexpress to complete the set for less than 45$

What it is:

• Reuses your OEM telescopic actuator and cover cap — this replaces only the failed retaining collar.

• Holder-only version (no spray jet): designed for cars without active headlight washers (e.g. xenon retrofits with no washer plumbing) — you just want the cap held flush and clean.

• Washer-ready by design: water can pass straight through and there’s a seat for an O-ring, so if you do run washers you can add/print your own ejector nozzle. It’s provisioned, not jetted.
