Keep your 3D printing workspace clean and organized with this high-capacity filament wall rack. This design ingeniously reuses the metal legs from an IKEA Antilop high chair (part 806.008.14) to act as the main support bars. Instead of searching for custom metal rods, you can upcycle an old chair or purchase the legs from the store. The printed side brackets hold the tubes securely in place. A fully assembled two-tier shelf using all four legs accommodates up to 22 standard spools of filament, getting them off your desk and neatly displayed on the wall.

How to make: Take the metal legs from the IKEA Antilop chair and pull out the plastic bottom feet along with the metal spring pins. Push the modified metal tubes firmly into the designated holes on the 3D printed wall mounts. Secure the brackets to a sturdy wall using appropriate screws.

Print the wall mounts using PLA or PLA+. Standard 0.20mm layer height works perfectly. Print them lying flat on the build plate to maximize layer adhesion strength. Settings used: Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.20mm Standard profile, 3 wall loops, printed with SUNLU PLA+
