Bring a touch of geometric style and perfect organization to your workspace with this honeycomb-inspired drawer unit! It is the perfect solution for organizing small workshop tools, electronic components, screws, or office stationery.

The design is fully optimized for 3D printing, minimizing the need for supports and ensuring smooth drawer movement thanks to carefully calibrated tolerances.

📐 Model Specifications

  • Total Dimensions: 170 mm x 170 mm x 140 mm (Depth)
  • Tolerances: 0.2mm clearance per side (0.4mm total) for a smooth yet stable sliding fit.
  • Design: 6 hexagonal compartments with matching integrated handles.

🖨️ Recommended Print Settings

  • Material: PLA or PETG (A Black/Cyan dual-color combo is highly recommended for maximum visual contrast!).
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm (or 0.28 mm for a faster print).
  • Perimeters/Walls: 2 or 3 walls.
  • Infill: 10% - 15% (Gyroid or Grid).
  • Supports: None needed for the main shell (the honeycomb geometry handles bridging perfectly). Minimal supports might only be needed under the handle overhangs if printed as a single piece with the drawer.
  • Orientation:
    • Main Shell: Print vertically or resting on its flat back.
    • Drawers: Print vertically with the opening facing upwards.
