Description
This TCAS mount was specifically designed for the "Throttle Desk Mount 5 with Profile Bar 1" by WINCTRL.
It is part of a series of mounts for the "Throttle Desk Mount 5". Further mounts, including those for the MCDU and RMP, can also be found in my profile.
Required Mounting Hardware
The following parts are required to attach the mount to the Desk Mount 5:
- 4 × M4 × 35 mm screws (e.g., flat head screws DIN 85, A2 stainless steel)
- 4 × M4 hexagon nuts (e.g., DIN 934, A2 stainless steel)
- 4 × washers (inner diameter 4.3 mm, outer diameter 15 mm)
The screws and square nuts supplied by WINCTRL fit perfectly to attach the MCDU to the mount.
Assembly Note
When assembling, ensure that both mounts are aligned exactly parallel to each other. The TCAS can then be carefully slid into the mount. Insertion requires a bit of dexterity but works without problems if correctly aligned.
Print Settings
- Wall thickness: 3 lines (2 lines are also sufficient)
- Infill pattern: Gyroid
- Material: eSUN PLA
- Color: Dark grey (Matte)
