Description
This MCDU mount was specifically designed for WINCTRL's “Throttle Desk Mount 5 with Profile Bar 1”.
It is part of a series of mounts for the “Throttle Desk Mount 5”. Other mounts, including those for the RMP and TCAS, can also be found in my profile.
Required mounting hardware
The following parts are required for attaching the mount to the Desk Mount 5:
- 4 × M4 × 35 mm screws (e.g. flat head screws DIN 85, A2 stainless steel)
- 4 × M4 hex nuts (DIN 934, A2 stainless steel)
- 4 × washers (inner diameter 4.3 mm, outer diameter 15 mm)
The screws and square nuts supplied by WINCTRL fit perfectly to attach the MCDU to the mount.
Assembly instructions
When assembling, make sure that both mounts are aligned exactly parallel to each other. The MCDU can then be carefully slid into the mount. Insertion requires some finesse, but works smoothly with correct alignment.
Print settings
- Wall thickness: 3 lines (2 lines are also sufficient)
- Infill pattern: Gyroid
- Material: eSUN PLA
- Color: Dark grey (Matte)
