Vented Filler Panel 1U–3U for 10" Mini Racks

Blank that empty rack space — and let your gear breathe.

A parametric filler / vented blanking panel for 10" mini racks (Project Mini Rack / EIA-310). Covers unused rack openings for a clean look and better airflow management. Pick your height (1U / 2U / 3U) and style right in the customizer.

Three styles, one customizer:

🌬️ Vented — louvered slots in two zones for airflow over passive gear (switches, Pi, mini PCs).

⬛ Blank — solid cover for a tidy front and better front-to-back air separation.

🔌 Cable passthrough — wide bottom slot to route cables through to the back.

Why this one?

🖨️ Fits small printers! Most 10" panels are 254 mm wide — too big for a Prusa MK3S / MINI or Ender 3. Ships as a two-part design with a calibrated dovetail joint (and a one-piece version for larger beds).

📏 Standard EIA-310 mounting — slotted holes (M5/M6), 236.5 mm spacing. Same proven mounting as the rest of the Mini Rack Essentials line.

⚙️ Fully parametric OpenSCAD — set height in U, vent style, slot size, hole size and dovetail clearance in the built-in customizer.

Print settings: PETG (PLA works), 0.2 mm layers, 3 perimeters, ~20–25% infill, no supports, flat on the bed. Halves print in ~30–60 min on an MK3S depending on size.

Shown printed in black PETG (2U vented, two-part) — the dovetail joins tight with zero added clearance on a Prusa MK3S. The extra renders show the blank and cable-passthrough styles and the in-rack fit.
