Description

AuxArc presents a super simple parametric key for Streamlight TLR-7A Weapon Mounted Lights.

Boost Me (for free)

You guys requesting, boosting and downloading is what makes this all work.  I appreciate it.

Something I discovered with my new S&W Shield X is that it's not friends with the TLR7a design. None of the rail keys that came with the light put it flush against the trigger guard.  Rather than modify the handgun or the light, I designed this parametric option that allows you to put the key where you need it, for any gun with a rail.  So now, you can either replace missing keys for the TLR7A, or further dial in it's location.

I currently run with the front of this piece cut off since it stuck out the front of the handgun, but for longer guns like G19s or G17s, you may even want to have the key farther forward.  You can see in the pictures above where I've trimmed the black key but the blue key is the full model.

When adjusting it, 0.0" is all the way at the back of the key, while 1.15" is slightly hanging over the front.  0.5" will put it directly over the top of the screw and unconnected entirely, so make sure that when you adjust it, check that it is still connected enough to work.  Then print and install.  Prints in about 18 minutes.  Will need supports.  Installs easily and you're set.

This was primarily driven by the Universal TLR-7 Holster I am working on and this key allows you to place this light more accurately on more firearms, setting the next release of mine up for success.  I appreciate you all, comments, questions, insults, requests and critiques.  Thank you.
