Description

Custom Folding Stock V2

This is the V2 version of my Hazard Stock for airsoft replicas with a rear Picatinny rail.
Compared to my previous version, this one is simpler: less hardware, no glue, and a slimmer overall design while still being solid and reliable.

The stock itself is almost identical to the original Hazard Stock. Its shape was made to leave more room for bulky face protection, making it much easier to aim while wearing a Stalker mask or a gas mask.

It locks in place when unfolded, and with a simple press of a button, the stock folds and snaps into place to keep it from flopping around. (Note that it may unsnap if moved too hard, as it's a simple snap-fit mechanism.)

Three hinge versions are included:

  • Standard: For most rear Picatinny rail adapters.
  • XS: A shorter hinge for a more compact setup.
  • TAC41: Sized to fit the TAC41 sniper

----- Assembly -----

To assemble the folding stock, you'll need:

-1 × 7x12mm compression spring (for the button, available on MakerWorld)

-1 × M3 × 16mm screw (to hold the button in the stock)

-2 × M4 × 30mm screws + nuts (to clamp onto the Picatinny rail)

-1 small piece of filament (used as a hinge pin, melted on both ends to hold it in place)

Melt both ends of the piece of filament to lock the pin in place:

Some light sanding may be needed on supported areas for a clean fit.
