Following the overwhelming interest and valuable feedback on the first version, I completely redesigned this model to transform it into a much more detailed, cinematic, and captivating concept.

Peak Glimmer is not just a desk lamp; it is a decorative light sculpture that brings the majesty of nature directly into your workspace.

Inspired by towering mountain peaks, a tranquil alpine pond, and crystallized rock textures, this design acts as a modern sculpture when turned off, and morphs into a breathtaking atmosphere when illuminated. A sleek decor piece by day, a cinematic centerpiece by night.
 

💡 Two Distinct Experiences
 

💎 When the Light is OFF

Thanks to its crystallized surfaces, layered topographic structure, and intricate rock textures, Peak Glimmer stands as a striking, minimalist modern desk sculpture even in broad daylight.
 

🌄 When the Light is ON
 

(You can achieve different moods by swapping the diffuser inside the Bambu LED kit—the community has plenty of models for this! Or simply use an RGB LED strip and set your own mood!)

Once illuminated, Peak Glimmer takes on a completely new identity:

• 🔹Glacier Blue: Reflects the cool, tranquil vibe of the Northern Lights.
• 🔴Volcanic Red: Evokes the raw energy and passion deep within the mountains.
• 🟡Sunrise Yellow: Creates a warm, soothing morning glow.
• 🟣Aurora Mode: Delivers a mesmerizing, cinematic experience with multi-color transitions.

📐 Two Size Options

You can print the model in Small or Large scale depending on your workspace setup.

(Personal recommendation: If your desk allows it, go for the Large version without hesitation! It is the absolute best way to experience the sheer majesty of the peak and its cinematic lighting).

🧊 Printing Guidelines

• 🧵 Material:
  • Standard PLA is recommended for the main mountain body.
  • Crystal or Translucent PLA is highly recommended for the pond and light-transmitting details.
  • Black or dark-colored filament should be used for the base.
• 🛠️ Supports: Strictly required. Enabling supports is mandatory to cleanly print the sharp ridges, steep cliffs, and overhangs of the mountain.
• 🌀 Brim: A 10 mm Brim is recommended for the mountain model to ensure this tall, large print stays firmly anchored to the build plate.

💡 Lighting & Assembly

The model is designed to be fully compatible with the Bambu Lab LED Kit for a super effortless assembly. Alternatively, you can achieve the exact same atmosphere using standard 5V LED strips.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: To get the best light effect and prevent unwanted light bleeding from the bottom, make sure to print the underside of the pond and the base unit in black/dark filament. This gives the pond a much deeper look, while forcing the light to escape only through the crystallized peaks.
