Print Settings & Tips

  • Material: PETG or ASA is highly recommended if you plan to introduce this to actual hot shower temperatures (PLA will warp and lose its seal over time).
  • Infill: 20%–30% (Gyroid recommended for structural integrity around the threads).
  • Walls/Perimeters: 4–5 walls. You want this to be completely water-tight so the pressure forces the water through the internal vortex nozzles rather than leaking through your layer lines.
  • Supports: None required! The internal cavity and threads are designed to print cleanly without support material.
  • Orientation: Print flat on the bed, exactly how it's oriented in Vortex Shower Head.JPG.
