Description

The Saw That Shrinks For Travel And Grows For Work!"🪚

🌲🔨 Tired of carrying bulky saws into the wilderness? Wish your survival gear could disappear into your pack without sacrificing cutting power?

Introducing the PackSaw 21 Collapsible Buck Saw — the full-size bushcraft saw that packs down small enough for your bugout bag, backpack, truck kit, or camp box!

Unlike folding saws that leave you working with short blades and cramped cutting strokes, the PackSaw 21 uses a full-size 21-inch blade to deliver long, efficient cuts through firewood, shelter poles, trail obstacles, and campsite projects.

But here's the clever part...

This saw assembles in minutes without metal hardware, specialty tools, or complicated mechanisms. Simply insert the blade, route the paracord tension system, and twist until the frame locks into a rigid cutting machine. The more you tension the cord, the stronger and stiffer the frame becomes.

✅ Full-size 21" cutting performance
✅ Breaks down for compact storage
✅ Lightweight 3D printable design
✅ Uses common paracord for tensioning
✅ Perfect for bugout bags, bushcraft, camping, overlanding, and emergency kits
✅ Easy to repair or reprint in the field

Whether you're processing firewood at camp, clearing a trail, building a shelter, or preparing for the unexpected, the PackSaw 21 gives you the cutting power of a traditional buck saw without the bulk.

Because when space is limited, your tools shouldn't be.

Print it. Pack it. Build with it.

Attention! This model was professionally developed using advanced engineering techniques, scientific testing, and the occasional muttered curse word.

After many prototypes and far too much filament, it is now available to you for the low, low price of absolutely nothing.

If you find it useful, consider giving it a BOOST! It's free, it helps the design reach more people, and it lets me pretend all those failed prints were part of the plan.

Thanks for checking it out, and happy printing! ????

This is version 1 of the saw. I have several ideas to make it even better including making the handles become blade guards to sheath the blade when packed. I just need a little motivation to sit down and do it. The best possible motivation would be people interacting with this model. Will you help motivate me?
