Description
This is a custom-designed, protective, and functional case for the Arduino Portenta C33. Since this board does not reach exceptionally high operating temperatures, this enclosure swaps the bulky heatsink cutout for ventilation slots.
I have designed it using FreeCAD and attached the original project file, allowing anyone to modify, remix, or adapt the design to their specific needs.
đ ď¸ Key Features
- Dedicated Connector Cutouts: Precise, easy access to all essential onboard interfaces, including the USB-C port, the Battery connector, and the ESLOV connector.
- Integrated Ventilation Slots: Features passive cooling grilles to ensure airflow.
- Integrated Push Button: Includes a precise mechanical pass-through button to easily interact with the board's physical button without needing to open the enclosure or use a tool.
- Status LEDs Visibility: Clean alignment to easily monitor the board's behavior and status LEDs at a glance.
đ¨ď¸ 3D Printing Settings (Recommended)
- Material: PLA is perfect for normal use. PETG or ABS/ASA can be used if deployed in harsh or industrial environments.
- Layer Height: 0.2mm
- Infill: 15% - 20% (Gyroid or Grid)
- Supports: No supports needed if printed flat on the print bed.
- Wall Loops / Perimeters: 3 for extra durability around the connector cutouts.
