Description
This model is a completely redesigned and reinforced remix of the original trimmer head cover for the Parkside PRTA 20-Li cordless grass trimmer. The OEM part is notorious for cracking or snapping when coming into contact with stones, fences, or hard edges.
To solve this, I have modified the geometry to significantly increase structural durability in high-stress areas, ensuring it can withstand heavy duty yard work without breaking.

- Reinforced Structure: Thicker walls and optimized geometry at critical stress concentrations where the original cover usually fails.
- Enhanced Durability: Engineered to absorb impacts and prevent the locking tabs from snapping off.
đ¨ď¸ Recommended Print Settings
For maximum strength and impact resistance, I highly recommend using the following slicing parameters:
- Filament Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS. (Do NOT use PLA, as it is too brittle for impact tools and will deform under direct sunlight/outdoor temperatures).
- Wall Loops / Perimeters: 3 perimeters (Minimum, for solid structural shell strength).
- Infill Density: 30%
- Infill Pattern: Gyroid or Grid (Gyroid provides excellent multi-directional impact resistance).
- Supports: Depending on your printer's bridging performance. For best results, print flat side down and use Tree Supports to support the overhangs of the locking tabs.
