A fully parametric rack panel designer for homelab, networking, and compact server setups.
You can generate both blank panels and ventilated panels from the same model, making it ideal for modular rack builds.

The design is based on standard rack unit (U) spacing and is fully customizable in height, allowing you to create panels from 1U and above. Ventilation patterns are optimized for airflow while maintaining structural strength, and optional reinforcement improves rigidity when needed.

This model is designed for easy 3D printing with clean geometry and no supports required.

SUPPORTED SIZES

1U up to 10U, could be unlimited but wont fit on any printer anyway.

From 6" racks up to 25" racks in 0.5" steps.

 

CHANGELOG

 

Added an option to split the panel in half to be able to fit 19" panels in most common printers.

Added more holes in the split when the pannel is bigger than 1U.

Added a closed backplate to make decorative panels without ventilation.

Added a slotted version of the mounting holes as an option.

Added SKADIS pattern, in this one you cannot change size for obvious reasons but you can use full shapes only and rotate

MORE SETTINGS

Rounded edges:

Decide how you like them.

        

Center holes:

You can toogle them on or off

Top and bottom holes:

When selecting more than 1U, you can toggle the extra holes  on or off

Hole size:

Change the size of the holes as you like

Thickness and reinforcement:

Configure it for strenght or to save weight and material.

you can control the thickness of the plate itself as well as the back

reinforcement so you can create strong yet thin plates

Main mounting holes:

Added a button to turn on/off corner holes in case you wanna mount 

only with the middle holes

Split panel:

Split the panel in half and print 2 half's with the same or different panel, then join them using 2 m4 screws and nuts.
