Description

I change up my wheelbase often and got tired of having to change bodies all the time, so I whipped up a quick buggy cage to protect the electronics and allow me to run any link/tire setup without any issues! This is for the V.ENGRC YEPspec SCX24 Chassis, will not fit anything else.

The cage has M1.4 screw holes to mount the panels.

The body mounts eliminate the need for nuts for your shock screws and can run any shock hole desired without affecting body mount placement.

The chassis mounts utilize M1.4 screws - included a knob for a M1.4 threaded heatsert and a knob that doesn't require a heatsert.

I suggest you print the pieces as I have them arranged in the 3mf file, but as always, you may need to further tweak for your equipment/filament. I suggest you use nothing weaker than PETG as the goal here is protection. I hit the cage with a chrome pen after printing for a more realistic look.
