Description

This is a lightweight AMS Side Plate Hanger Jig designed to mount directly onto the AMS side of your printer. It gives you a clean, compact way to store multiple build plates without taking up desk space or adding bulky stands.

The jig weighs only 2.8 g, yet it’s engineered to hold multiple plates securely thanks to its reinforced clip geometry and balanced load path. The design uses the AMS body as a stable anchor point, allowing the plates to hang neatly and safely beside the printer.

Why this design exists

If you swap plates often, you know the struggle—plates end up stacked, leaning, or cluttering your workspace. This jig solves that by giving you a dedicated, always‑accessible storage point right where you need it.

Key Features

  • Ultra‑lightweight: ~2.8 g per hanger
  • Strong for its size: Optimised clip geometry for secure plate holding
  • Multi‑plate capable: Designed to support multiple build plates
  • Space‑saving: Uses the AMS side panel as the mounting surface
  • Support‑free print: Fully printable without supports
  • Fast print time: Ideal for printing multiples

Recommended Materials

  • PLA / PLA‑C – great for normal environments
  • PETG / ABS – recommended if your printer runs warm or is enclosed
