Description
Family Calendar
Our family is always writing little notes, reminders, and funny memories on our dry erase calendar, but at the end of every month they get wiped away.
This calendar was designed to keep the usefulness of a monthly family calendar, while giving each day its own removable card. Plan the month, write down the important stuff, and when something worth saving happens, keep the card instead of erasing it forever.
"Plan the days. Save the memories." as we've been saying.
How It Works
The main frame is printed and holds a full month of removable calendar cards. Each card can be used for appointments, reminders, events, chores, school activities, birthdays, trips, or just a small memory from the day. We also included a pen holder on the back so you always have one handy.
At the end of the month, you can reset the calendar and save any cards you want to keep as little family memory keepsakes.
Calendar Tag App - Free to use, no sign in required

We created a web app to help customize the cards:
https://ozarkexpeditions.com/games/calendar-tags
The app lets you create your own calendar tags with dates, icons, writing lines, and custom layouts. These can then be opened in BambuSuite for pen plotting and cutting. This makes it easy to create cards for different months, special events, recurring family activities, school schedules, vacations, birthdays, or whatever your family needs.
Why We Made It
We wanted this to feel like a classic household tool, but with a modern maker twist.
A dry erase calendar is useful, but it is temporary. A printed calendar is simple, but it is not flexible. This design sits somewhere in the middle of reusable, customizable, and still personal. We also wanted to try something that used the full end to end capabilities and print volume from the new Bambu Lab A2L.
A few notes:
- Matte PLA looks great for the frame
- Cardstock material gives the cards a classic look
- Use a pen color that contrasts well with your card material
Assembly
Once everything is printed, simply attached the faceplate to the frame using (4) M3x8 screws.
Feedback and Boosts
This was designed to be something your family can actually use, not just something that looks neat once and gets put on a shelf. Post your build photos, share your best card designs, give us a download, and if you want to see more innovative family accessories, **share a boost! **🚀
