THE MODEL :
Introduce an air of mythic nobility and ancient high fantasy to your space with this magnificent dragon scholar bust. This unique three-dimensional model beautifully reimagines classical Roman imperial statuary, featuring a regal draconian entity with a proud gaze, swept-back horns, and finely detailed neck scales. Clad in an elegant draped toga fastened with a shoulder brooch, this dragon lord rests upon a traditional museum pedestal base. It is the ultimate statement sculpture to anchor a Dark Academia bookshelf layout, elevate a tabletop gaming desk, or complement a moody cabinet of curiosities alongside raw crystals and vintage leather-bound volumes.
Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The crisp definition of the scale patterns, the smooth flow of the drapery, and the sharp horn tips were successfully verified using matte black PLA, as displayed in the file Gemini_Generated_Image_vziaz2vziaz2vzia.png.
- Infill: Set between 5% to 10% (gyroid pattern suggested). Since this is a purely decorative display piece and its center of gravity lines up perfectly over the vertical pedestal, a low infill rate is ideal to keep the print quick and material-efficient while maintaining excellent structural strength.
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Supports: Light tree supports are highly required beneath the protruding chin profile, under the sweeping curves of the main horns, and below the lowest overhanging folds of the fabric toga.
Sizing Information: The model is scaled to sophisticated tabletop dimensions, making it a balanced accent piece for counters, desks, or mantels. Please feel free to freely resize the model inside your slicing software to upscale it into a commanding central estate showcase or downscale it into a detailed custom board game relic.
INFORMATION:
A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?
For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.
Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.

All models are available for download in 3MF format. We recommend using Bambu Studio (Bambu Lab's slicer), as some specific modifications may only be visible within this software.
