Large Gummy Bear Candle Mold

A large two-piece gummy bear mold designed for making chunky wax candles. The mold includes a small groove at the bottom to help guide the wick through the center and keep it stable.
 

This is a big mold and can use a lot of wax. My test candle used roughly about 1 lb of beeswax.

Important Use Notes:
The two mold halves do not have alignment pins, so they must be lined up manually.

For best results:

• Sand the mating faces flat before use
• Tape all seams tightly, including the bottom
• Add rubber bands around the mold for extra clamping pressure
• Use an external wick holder/clothespin to keep the wick straight/cenetered
• Let the wax cool as much as possible before pouring
• Do not pour extremely hot wax into the printed mold
• Let the candle fully cool before removing it

Waiting long enough is important. I recommend letting the candle cool for at least 12 hours, preferably closer to 24 hours. Once the wax has fully shrunk away from the mold, it should release much easier.
