Description
Separable end car for Eurostar HO 1/87 without intermediate bogie
The needs to make a set of 2
- inter-car coupling hooks (x 2)
- coupling hooks between the two cars (x 2 + 2 spare)
- The car bodies (x 2)
- The chassis (x 2)
- The roofs (x 2)
- Interiors (x 2)
- Bogies under chassis (x 2) (to be made of resin, highly recommended)
- Half bellows in TPU (x 2)
- Full bellows in TPU (x 1)
- Bellows supports (x 2)
- Resin bellows for half sets or display case (cars cannot be attached with) (x 2)
- 1mm thick nylon washers, inner diameter Ø4mm and outer 10mm (x 2)
The axles required for the bogies are Ø10.4mm Lima type with a point-to-point spacing of 24.4mm, same as for my other resin bogies available on my profile
Fully compatible with Jouef and Lima Eurostar in HO 1/87
To make the glazing, I recommend a transparent laminating sheet glued to the inside
The best way to have smoother inter-curve action is to have one hook with the pin that follows the curve in the chassis and one without the pin on the other car
WARNING the small antennas on the roof are extremely fragile!
If you have tight curves and turnouts, the bellows will collide, you will need to remove one of the two
The resin bellows are not designed to be assembled in a full train set, only in a half set or for static display
