Mitsubishi Pajero IV 6.5" Speaker Adapter Ring

This is a custom-designed 3D printable speaker adapter ring that allows installation of standard 6.5" (165 mm) aftermarket speakers in the factory speaker locations of the Mitsubishi Pajero IV / Montero / Shogun (2006–2021).

The adapter is designed to match the OEM mounting points, making speaker upgrades straightforward while maintaining a solid and secure fit.

Included Versions

Version 1 – M3 Nut Insert Model

This version includes integrated hexagonal recesses on the rear side for M3 nuts.

Advantages:

• Secure mounting using M3 machine screws and nuts.
• Easy speaker removal and reinstallation.
• Stronger and more durable mounting compared to self-tapping screws.

Required Hardware:

• M3 nuts
• M3 screws (length depending on speaker basket thickness)

Version 2 – Blank / Smooth Model

This version has no pre-made speaker mounting holes.

Advantages:

• Compatible with a wider range of 6.5" speakers.
• Allows users to drill custom mounting holes according to their speaker's bolt pattern.
• Maximum flexibility for different aftermarket brands.

Printing Recommendations

• Material: PETG, ASA, ABS, or other automotive-grade filament.
• Layer Height: 0.2 mm
• Walls: 3+
• Infill: 30–50%
• Print Orientation: Flat on the build plate.
• Supports: Not required.

PETG works well for most climates, while ASA or ABS is recommended for vehicles exposed to high temperatures.
