Door Lifter – adjustable assembly aid
Print Profile(1)

Description
Short description:
Practical 3D-printed door lifter for easy door installation and adjustment. The lever mechanism allows the door to be lifted in a controlled manner and positioned precisely – ideal for workshops, construction sites, and DIY projects.
Detailed description:
This door lifter is a compact and stable assembly aid for hanging, aligning, and adjusting doors. The lever mechanism allows a door or similar component to be lifted in a controlled manner, while both hands remain free for alignment.
This model is particularly suitable for DIY enthusiasts, installers, and workshop tasks. The construction is robust and connected with M8 screws, ensuring reliable guidance of the moving parts. The flat front support surface distributes the load well and helps to safely position the door.
I used the printed version for demonstration and created a steel one for practical use (absolutely necessary for heavier doors).
Possible applications:
Door installation, component alignment, small lifting tasks in the workshop, assembly aid for DIY projects.
Note:
Load capacity may vary depending on print material, infill, and screw quality. Always test carefully before use and do not lift heavy loads unsecured.
Print recommendation:
PETG or ABS/ASA recommended. PLA can work for light applications or demonstration. For higher stability, use at least 4 wall lines and 40–60% infill. Moving and stressed parts should be printed with enough perimeters.
