Description
So, my final design for the custom cover for the ASUS Geforce RTX 3050 Dual OC with 6GB (without power connector) is now complete and ready for you to print. This cover is specifically designed to fit only this card! There are 3 versions of this cover: a short variant without a rear frame, an 'open' frame, and the final frame with a honeycomb pattern (Personally, I find this one the most aesthetically pleasing)
I didn't like the open design of this card, and after much deliberation, I had the idea to create a precisely fitting backplate. After countless attempts, many prints, adjustments, and optimizations, I finally succeeded. The finished printed cover is simply placed on the GPU and held in place by its designated cutouts. It sits securely and won't slip. V2 and V3 are designed with an additional support towards the rear
I printed it with PLA (long-term testing to follow) but strongly recommend PETG due to the temperatures generated
I had my gamertag 'engraved' specifically for my own graphics card cover; the file I'm providing to you does not include any text
For everyone who also owns this card, please show me your PC builds, as I'm curious to see how they look :)
