3D Printed Chassis for CZ455

Finally, it’s here — the long-awaited chassis you’ve been asking about. :)

The chassis is based on my CZ457 chassis project (link).

The parts that differ from the CZ457 chassis are the center section and the trigger guard. The rest will fit from version 1.3 of the chassis dedicated to the CZ457, so if you already have those parts, you can reuse them.

NOTE: The chassis is still being tested. If something does not fit or does not work as it should, please contact me instead of leaving a negative comment.

To start, I suggest printing the center section first to check whether it fits your CZ455 properly.

Two print profiles are available: one with a longer bed and support filament, intended for printers such as the H2D/H2C, and a second profile with a bed shortened by 40 mm for single-nozzle printers with a 256 × 256 mm build plate.

In both profiles, the center section is available in versions with and without a Barricade Stop.

BOM:
To assemble the chassis, you will need:

• two M8×55 screws
• two M8 nylon lock nuts
• two M8 washers

During assembly, insert the M8 nut into the mounting hole in the center section, then slide on the grip, and only then screw on the rear part of the chassis (see photos).

You will also need long 4mm allen key (about 250mm) or some extensions to screw back section.
