NerdQaxe++ Hydro Dual Fan Cooling Stand

Custom cooling stand designed specifically for the NerdQaxe++ Hydro PCB (89x165mm).

After extensive testing and multiple design revisions, I created a cooling solution focused on improving airflow across the entire board, reducing VRM temperatures and supporting higher-performance water-cooled setups.

Features

✅ Dual 120mm fan support

✅ 66mm water-cooling radiator mount

✅ Two VRM cooling options:

  • 40x40mm fan mount
  • 60x60mm fan mount

✅ Raised feet for improved airflow

✅ Designed specifically for NerdQaxe++ Hydro (89x165mm PCB)

Airflow Concept

The airflow is designed to create a slight negative pressure inside the stand.

  • Bottom 120mm fan pulls fresh air into the enclosure
  • Rear 120mm fan exhausts air through the radiator
  • Additional VRM fan cools the front heatsink area directly

Airflow path:

Fresh Air → PCB / ASIC → Radiator → Exhaust

This design helps cool not only the ASIC, but also the voltage regulators and surrounding PCB components.

Current Test Results

Environment temperature: approximately 28°C

⚡ Hashrate: ~5.74 TH/s

🌡 ASIC: ~46.1°C

🌡 VRM: ~41.3°C

🔋 Power: ~93.8W

⚙ Efficiency: ~16.3 J/TH

Included Files

  • Main stand
  • Raised feet
  • 40x40mm VRM fan mount
  • 60x60mm VRM fan mount

Notes

This project was designed around my personal NerdQaxe++ Hydro setup and may be further improved over time.

Feedback, remixes and improvements are always welcome.

Happy mining! 🚀₿
