To improve printability and reduce unsupported overhangs, the rear section of the flag intentionally touches the bear’s hat and back. Because these contact points are located on the rear side of the model, they remain largely hidden from normal viewing angles while significantly improving printing reliability.

For the same reason, the flagpole is integrated into the “250” numerals. This creates additional structural support, strengthens the overall model, and helps ensure a cleaner and more reliable print without distracting from the finished appearance.

For my multicolour models: if you are printing with a single extruder printer, you may see a significant amount of filament waste. This is not caused by the model itself, but by the way colour changes work with this type of printing system.

If you want to reduce the waste, you can:

• print multiple copies of the same model on one plate
• print several models from the same collection on one plate (import the 3MF files in one file)
• reduce the number of colours or print the model in a single colour

I design using tools like Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, Blender, Nomad Sculpt, Meshmixer and sometimes Tinkercad. Like most modern designers, I also use AI as one of the helping tools in my workflow.
