OpenRack 2U - GMKtec Mini PC Mount

This model is a combination of two existing MakerWorld projects:

Modifications Made

From the OpenRack 2U Blank Insert, I used the base insert geometry that mounts into the OpenRack 2U ecosystem.

From the GMKtec rack mount design, I used the front mounting geometry and adapted it to fit within the OpenRack insert format.

Additional modifications include:

• Integrated the GMKtec mounting design into the OpenRack 2U insert.
• Optimized the design for use in a standard 19-inch rack using the OpenRack system.
• Adjusted geometry and mounting alignment to create a dedicated OpenRack-compatible GMKtec mount.

The resulting design provides a clean and secure way to install GMKtec mini PCs in an OpenRack 2U configuration.

Hardware Required

• 4x M4x8 screws

The faceplate is attached to the OpenRack insert using four M4x8 screws.

The GMKtec mini PC is retained by the integrated tray design, foot pockets, rear retention features, and the pressure applied by the faceplate. No modification to the mini PC is required.
