Description
I could not find a design I liked on Makerworld so it was time to search the wider web. I found this model on Printables. I sliced and arranged it for a 256x256x256 bed-size and 180x180x180, and here we are.
Features:
- Designed for 5mm wood or metal rod from the blade tip through the pomel. I used a 3/16" metal dowel, which is 4.75mm.
- Sliced for all Bambu printers, including smaller cuts of the blade and Guard for A1 mini
- Also includes 5mm 3d printed dowels if you don't have or want to use a long metal or wooden rod.
Finishing Plan:
- Glue with Loctite super glue
- Cracks filled with Bondo Spot Putty\
Paint with Rustoleum Silver
"Foe-hammer" (in Elvish, Glamdring) is the legendary Elven sword wielded by Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings. It was forged in the First Age for Turgon, King of Gondolin. The blade glows with a bright, luminous blue light whenever orcs or goblins are nearby. Gandalf discovered it in a troll hoard alongside Thorin’s sword, Orcrist (the "Goblin-cleaver"), and Bilbo's sword “Sting” in the Quest for Erebor in The Hobbit.
