Description

🐻⚔️ In the age of the Berserkers, warriors drew strength from the bear — the most feared creature of the Norse wilderness…

This is no ordinary weapon. A Viking short sword forged in the spirit of the ancient Berserkers — those fearless Norse warriors who fought with the fury of bears. The bear's head crowns the pommel, a bear paw marks the guard, and the blade carries a golden Celtic knotwork pattern that has been woven for centuries into the shields and weapons of the North.

Printed in black PLA on the Bambu Lab P1S and finished entirely by hand using a multi-layer Dry-Brush technique — giving the blade a cold hammered steel look, the handle a warm wood grain finish, and the Celtic knotwork a glowing gold that catches the light.

Print Settings:

  • Material: PLA (black)
  • Layer Height: 0.16 mm
  • Supports: Yes
  • Infill: 15–20%
  • Printer: Bambu Lab P1S

Painting – Dry-Brush Technique:

  • Base: Black PLA (no primer needed)
  • Blade: Metallic Silver dry-brushed for a cold hammered steel effect
  • Handle: Metallic Bronze/Brown tones for a wood grain look
  • Bear head pommel: Metallic Copper for warm fur tones
  • Celtic knotwork: Metallic Gold targeted on all raised knotwork details
  • Result: A fully hand-painted display weapon ready for your shelf or wall

🗡️ Display Stand: Looking for a stand to display your sword? I used this stand by another creator: 👉 Knife Stand with optional Logo Block

I used the 31cm variant — no scaling needed for the main stand. However, the small blade support piece (the front rest for the blade) needs to be scaled up to 150% to fit properly.
