Description
A compact leathercraft organizer designed to securely store and protect pricking irons while keeping them easily accessible on the workbench. Compatibility may vary slightly depending on individual tool dimensions and manufacturing tolerances.
This template is designed for use with Karlova Pricking Irons (3.38 mm spacing) and features a matching 3.38 mm stitch spacing.
The sample shown was stitched using 0.4 mm Vinymo thread, though 0.6 mm thread can also be used successfully.
The prototype was made from 3.5 oz leather (approximately 1.4 mm thick).
In addition to Karlova irons, this holder has been tested and fits Artisan Leather Supply 3 mm French irons and WUTA 3 mm round-dent irons.
