Bring the family history to life with Paul’s Grandpa, the impressive skeleton shark that enriches every 3D print display as a high-quality collector's item. This model captivates with its intricate detail and the nostalgic charm of a true family patriarch.

The highlight of this model are the fully movable eyes, which give the shark a lively and strong-character expression – perfect for giving it a different "look" depending on the mood. Whether as an exclusive display piece on the desk or as the centerpiece of your collection: Paul’s Grandpa is an absolute eye-catcher.

  • Design: High-quality designed skeleton shark on a base.
  • Interactivity: Equipped with movable eyes for individual expression.
  • Quality: Precision print, optimized for the Bambu Lab A1 / A1 Mini.
  • Ideal for: Fans of unusual character models and collectors of F.W Designs.

Print Profile Recommendations

  • Material: PLA (for the best details on the fine skeletal structures)
  • Layer Height: 0.16 mm (for high detail resolution on the bone structures)
  • Walls: 3 (for stability in the teeth and structure)
  • Infill Density (Infill): 15 % (Gyroid offers the best strength with low weight here)
  • Support Structures (Supports): "Tree Support" must be activated. Since the shark head has complex overhangs on the jaws, this is necessary to achieve a clean result without damaging the details.

The first image I think, but the others are very real, I advise you to do a smaller test and then do the real version

I prime my models before airbrushing them. I then use washes and drybrushing for the finish. As a final fixative, I apply clear varnish. The title image is, of course, designed for optimal presentation

Used .08 on the A1 mini but the upper teeth bombed out due to the supports. Wish there awa. way to print them as dentures and glue them in. Seems like they'd end up better but I get the all in one. Cool model tho, I'll try again on the X1 in .4. (built in supports would take it up a notch too... just saying. 🙂

I would love to see this one with the negative-face illusion used for its eyes, so its eyes look like they fallow you when you move around.lol
