Description

Here is my latest creation - a Gibson Les Paul replica. Some parts required sanding, and I used quick-setting glue for the guitar assembly. Please share your comments and photos of your prints/impressions

Because the contest hadn't begun when I posted, I was disappointed to not be able to participate, but I should post a new one shortly

Okay, I didn't know that detail, thank you! You could easily have had multiple entries in this competition if I look at your models 😂

This piece is amazing!! I printed it at 150% on an A1 and it was a blast! It looks awesome! ML Innovation killed it! So well done! Everyone is loving this piece (they are blown away that it is printed), even the guitar stand is perfect. I added a nut to the neck, and I redid the headstock with tiny holes (Mesh Boolean/Difference process with tiny cylinders) so it can be strung, but I probably won't try that until I print another one. That is a little tricky. I bought 6 high E strings and it does work and looks insane, but I have to glue the strings to the headstock and I didn't want to ruin this one in case it doesn't look as good as the model. Thank you for sharing your work! Looking forward to my next print and having a Strat again!! lol I printed a lot of the pieces at 50% Silent Mode and I did the top of the body at 50% when there was about one hour left. It looks great! It looks so good, I have even been asked if it can be played... Working on my third... Thank you, again!!

Thank you my friend your work is incredible it's really impressive to see someone who has talent in printing. If you want to put your printing profile I will recommend it. The buttons are really great! a pro Jackson soloist is coming soon. your version of the gold top undoubtedly surpasses mine

An excellent print! Although I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to use Slash in your promotional image, I've ultimately decided that it's just not important and not my business. Great job! I'm eager to see what you do next!

Fun fact, my son is named Gibson after my 83 Studio I had to sell when I was diagnosed with Cancer. This model will be as close as I get to having another Les Paul.
