Thanks for your support!

A customizable decorative ring for young trees, shrubs, and garden plants.

This modular ring helps create a clean and attractive transition between soil and decorative stones. It can be used in two different ways:

  • Fill the ring with soil when the surrounding area is covered with decorative gravel or stones.
  • Fill the ring with stones when the surrounding area consists of soil or mulch.

The design creates a neat, professional-looking border around the tree trunk while helping to visually separate different ground coverings.

Features

  • Fully parametric design: Adjustable outer diameter, inner diameter and height
  • Can be scaled to suit different tree and shrub sizes
  • Consists of 4 individual segments
  • Tool-free assembly by simply snapping the segments together

Print profiles / Generator

    Height: 70mm

You need a different size? Please use the generator by clicking on the customize button. There you can adjust these 3 dimension freely:

After generating the model, please import it into Bambu Studio. There, you’ll need to split the model into 4 separate parts. Right-click on the model: Split -> to objects. Then, please move each element to its own print plate.

Assembly

First, connect the two parts marked with a circle and the two parts marked with an X. Now place the two semicircles around the tree trunk and connect the two halves to form a closed circle.

Note: The circles and X aren't visible in my photos. I added them later to make the assembly easier.

Print settings

  • 3 walls
  • Outer and inner brim to prevent warping
  • I've also added cube modifiers to reinforce the connectors with 35% infill and 4 walls. However, it should work just fine without them as well:

Filament

Please use filament that is resistant to heat and UV light.

PETG or, ideally, ASA. I printed the ring myself using ASA.
