Canon EF-M to Industar 69 Mount Adapter
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a simple adapter to connect an Industar 69 lens to a Canon EF-M mount camera.
The Industar 69 is an inexpensive, small, oddball, Soviet era lens that takes dreamy retro photos. It was designed to work with the budget friendly Soviet Chaika camera and never intended to be used on any other cameras. While it does have a standard M39 Mount (there is a rare M42 mount version) the flange distance is non-standard at 28.8mm. If you try using it with an off the shelf M39 adapter you'll be unable to get infinity focus. You can disassemble it and remove a limiter peg in order to get infinity focus, but it's probably easier to just print off an adapter. (If you wish to modify this lens you can find guides on YouTube, and it is a pretty simple job.)
When printing this adapter please do so with the flat side plate down and also use supports. I've tried printing this in PLA and in ABS, both with solid success. I would suggest printing in PLA at as HIGH a quality level as possible in order to get the screw threads to fit properly. I would also suggest grabbing the print off the bed as soon as it's finished and screwing the lens in immediately, while the plastic is still a little warm. This should help mold the threads in place if there are errors or a bit of tightness. I printed off several adapters using the same settings only to find that one or two were very tight and then other ones were perfectly fine. So don't be surprised if it takes you more than one print.
Please be aware that the Industar-69 is a really really poor quality lens that can be really fun to shoot with. They're cheap to find on eBay since they were mass produced in the millions. This lens will also only work on APSC or Micro 4/3rds cameras, if you try using it with a Full Frame camera the image won't fully fill the frame.
