Bring more fun to your target practice with this modular Flip Target target for 3D printing. After each hit, the target flips to the other side and is securely held in position by the integrated magnets. Thanks to the ball bearing, the target moves particularly smoothly and reliably

The blue targets are printed from TPU, making them significantly more resistant to hits than rigid plastic parts and less likely to break

Hardware needed per target

  • 1× Ball bearing (608, 8×22×7 mm)
  • 1× Magnet for the lever arm (max. Ø15 mm)
  • 2× Magnets for the side stoppers (max. Ø8 mm)
  • 1× Wooden beam (approx. 52 mm wide)

Print pause for magnets

For the magnet pockets, printing must be paused at the layers before they are closed

  1. Print until the top edge of the magnet pocket.
  2. Pause print.
  3. Insert magnets into the recesses.
  4. Pay attention to correct polarity.
  5. Resume print.

The final layers are then printed over the magnets, so that they are permanently and cleanly enclosed within the component. This eliminates the need for additional gluing

I tested it with the SSR4 (0.28g BB 1.4J) and with the Begadi BSR (0.45g BB 2.6J, about 350fps) at a 10-meter distance from the target. If you hit the TPU target, there shouldn't be a problem. The only point that could break is the PLA lever arm, to which the TPU target is connected.

I printed this on my P1S and used old bearings from my inline skates. Works great. Absolute thumbs up
